Following harvesting the grapes were whole bunch pressed. The free run juice went straight to a mix of 50% new and the rest ro three year old fine grained french oak barriques where it was allowed to ferment naturally. One half of the wines also underwent malolactic fermentation. Post fermentation, the wine was on yeast for a further 10 months with weekly battonage to help build palate texture and richness.
Hints of lemon, yellow grapefruit and gun-smoke intermingling with nuts and crushed rock.
