Quinta Sardonia established in 1998 by visionary winemaker Peter Sisseck, founder of Dominio de Pingus, is situated just outside the DO Ribera del Duero along the "Golden Mile" of Spain's Duero River, a 5 minutes drive to Monasterio Hacienda with Pingus towards its east. Sardon is the perfect result of Sisseck's experience with Tempranillo at Pingus and Hacienda. Quinta means winery in Portugese and Spanish as Duero River links Spain and Portugal. Sardonia alludes to the town of Sardon.
