Chateau Clement-Pichon Haut-Medoc
A fruity, light and elegant wine that you can already drink or keep in a cellar for a few years.
About the winery
The Chateau Clement-Pichon terroir, planted with 62% Merlot, 33% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc, is harvested in traditional culture. Because of its soil, the grape variety is mostly Merlot, resulting in gourmet wines that, while keeping a lot of elegance and potential of guard, open rather quickly. Also, the advice and the care provided by the talented Michel Rolland gives birth here to a remarkable vintage despite the youth of its vines. The chai is composed of thermo-regulated stainless vats, the vinification is traditional. The installation of thermo-regulated stainless steel vats allows a partial vinification, the aging then takes place in oak barrels, half new, for 12 months.
