About the winery
Classified as a 4th growth in 1855, Chateau Branaire-Ducru is situated in Saint-Julien appellation of the Medoc region in Bordeaux.
Defined by finesse, elegance and drinkability, Francois-Xavier Maroteaux (owner) and Jean-Dominique Videau (director and Winemaker) made their wines in such a way to bring out the purity of the fruit, the specific style that comes from the terroir with as much freshness as possible.
"A story written and conceived for pleasure, devoted to pleasure. So true is it that in the land of Medoc, pleasure is the ultimate outcome of all efforts."
