Pujanza Norte
A True First Growth In Rioja
Pure Origin. As the latest addition to Pujanza family, La Paul vineyard, situated on a hillside facing east on the slopes of the town of Laguardia, stands out for its essence and personality.
Intense cherry-red colour with violet glints. A powerful mouth-feel with subtle fruity notes of wild berries and minerality reflects the influence of lime soils from which the grape is derived.

About The Brand:
Carlos San Pedro, owner-winemaker of Pujanza winery, is the 4th generation of a family of vinegrowers and winemakers of Laguardia. With youthful enthusiasm, he connects with contemporary consumers developing harmonious wines, balanced with the perfect mix of depth and elegance in the purist style of Rioja Alavesa. Pujanza, his personal dream project, became a reality in 1998 when he released its 1st vintage. Situated in the heart of Rioja along the beautiful foothills of Sierra de Cantabria surrounded by farms, exceptional altitude, and weather conditions for the cultivation of vines, Pujanza's wines are marked with different unique personalities through the evolution of the vineyard. All Pujanza wines are aged in barrels for a minimum of 12 months.
