Pujanza SJ Anteportalatina
A True First Growth In Rioja
The aroma of the terroir. A wine made in limited quantities. The plot from which is it comes was replanted in 1989 with selected Viuras from family vineyards with high limestone content. SJ Anteportalatina truly reflects the aroma of its terroir.
A medium-bodied wine with fresh floral aromas, citrus notes, white-fleshed fruit, a hint of minerality, and a long, persistent finish. The phenolic aromas which develop in the bottle stand out here, a rare occurrence in its region of origin.

About The Brand:
Carlos San Pedro, owner-winemaker of Pujanza winery, is the 4th generation of a family of vinegrowers and winemakers of Laguardia. With youthful enthusiasm, he connects with contemporary consumers developing harmonious wines, balanced with the perfect mix of depth and elegance in the purist style of Rioja Alavesa. Pujanza, his personal dream project, became a reality in 1998 when he released its 1st vintage. Situated in the heart of Rioja along the beautiful foothills of Sierra de Cantabria surrounded by farms, exceptional altitude, and weather conditions for the cultivation of vines, Pujanza's wines are marked with different unique personalities through the evolution of the vineyard. All Pujanza wines are aged in barrels for a minimum of 12 months.
