Land of Innocence? The name of the wine comes from that of the unusual village: Sainte-Innocence. This is where this family business is located, now run by Hervé Borie and his partner Laurence Nicolas, oenologist. Modern equipment – robots-pigeurs for example –, well used allow them to offer harmonious wines like this one. Expressive and frank, the nose is full of aromas of cherry and blackcurrant, accompanied by a touch of liquorice. A round structure and silky tannins make this wine very tasty.
