Description
Origin: Murotsu Bay, Japan.
The Murotsu oysters are succulent and creamy with a strong sweet and fruity taste thanks to mineral-rich nutrients from the mountain and high brine content in the sea. These sashimi grade oysters are flash frozen and directly imported to maintain freshness.
The regular oysters weigh approximately 50-70g a piece.
Preparation
- Rinse & thaw the oysters under running water for 5 - 8 mins to remove particles and debris from the external shells.- Submerge the oysters in ice water for 5 minutes to enhance texture and flavour.
- Drain water away and use any knife (no special oyster knives needed!) to open the oysters.
